Why This Role As a Manager within our China consulting team, you will help industrial organisations improve operational performance, strengthen leadership capability, and deliver sustainable business results. You will lead client workstreams and projects, working directly with operational leaders and senior stakeholders to address complex challenges across operational excellence, productivity improvement, organisational effectiveness, and performance transformation. You will play a key role in delivering measurable outcomes for clients while helping to develop our people and grow long-term client relationships. Industry Focus: Industrial Sector Our clients operate across a range of industrial and asset-intensive sectors, including manufacturing, chemicals, metals and mining, energy, and related industries. We help organisations improve operational performance, develop leadership capabilities, enhance productivity, and build the organisational systems required to sustain results. Your Impact As a Manager, you will: Lead consulting engagements and workstreams, ensuring delivery excellence and measurable client outcomes. Work closely with client leadership teams to identify operational improvement opportunities and support implementation. Deliver operational excellence and performance improvement programmes across industrial and manufacturing environments. Analyse complex operational challenges and develop practical, actionable solutions. Facilitate workshops, leadership engagements, and capability-building initiatives. Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and contribute to long-term account development. Coach and develop consultants and analysts, helping to strengthen team capability and performance. Who You Are We are looking for candidates who bring: Experience within a recognised management consulting firm or consulting environment. Strong knowledge of operations, operational excellence, continuous improvement, safety, manufacturing performance, or industrial transformation. Experience working with industrial or asset-intensive sectors such as manufacturing, chemicals, energy, metals and mining, or related industries. Experience leading project workstreams and managing client stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills. The ability to translate complex problems into practical solutions and drive implementation. Experience managing teams and supporting the development of junior consultants. Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential for this role Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
