Chuukese to English Interpreters (No Experience Required)

We are currently looking for fluent Chuukese and English speakers for a fully remote, full-time interpreter opportunity with a leading U.S.-based client.

No previous interpretation experience is required. Selected candidates will receive a paid 3-week training program designed to prepare them for professional remote interpretation.

Requirements

• Fluent in Chuukese and English
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Professional and positive attitude
• Reliable internet connection
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable using a laptop/desktop for online work
• Able to commit to a full-time schedule starting at 7:00 AM California time
• Willing to complete the required language assessments

Training Program

The selected candidates will complete a 3-week paid training program.

Each training day includes:

• 2 hours of live instructor-led training
• 5 hours of paid homework and assignments
• Total: 7 paid hours per day / 35 hours per week

Selection Process

1. Submit your resume.
2. Complete an English language assessment.
3. Candidates who pass the English assessment will complete a Chuukese language assessment.
4. Qualified candidates will proceed to the client's interview/selection process.

The language assessments are used to evaluate fluency and communication ability.

Important Assessment Requirements

Candidates must:

• Use a laptop or desktop computer
• Have a stable internet connection
• Follow all test instructions carefully
• Close other applications, websites, and browser tabs during the assessment
• Have pen and paper available for taking notes
• Complete the assessment in English where instructed
