Civil Designer

What you’ll do As a Civil Designer, you'll work closely with engineers, designers and project teams to develop high-quality civil design documentation and models across a variety of projects. In this role, you'll: Prepare civil models, drawings and design documentation using industry-standard software Support the delivery of a variety of projects with a focus on Buildings Civil Defence projects across South Australia and nationally Work within multidisciplinary project teams, collaborating with structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and architectural disciplines Assist with the development and coordination of design solutions through all project phases Participate in BIM and model coordination activities Contribute to quality assurance and design review processes Assist with project delivery through accurate and timely documentation Continue developing your technical capability under the guidance of experienced senior designers and engineers What you’ll bring 5+ years' experience in civil drafting, modelling or design within an engineering consultancy, contractor or infrastructure environment Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12d and/or Civil 3D Experience delivering civil design documentation and models across buildings, land development and/or infrastructure projects Exposure to multidisciplinary project environments and coordination with other design disciplines Experience working alongside BIM teams or participating in BIM coordination activities will be highly regarded Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality technical documentation Effective communication and collaboration skills A proactive approach to learning and professional development The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance How we support your growth You'll join a supportive team where learning and development are encouraged.
