Civil / Structural Engineer – Contract Position
VAstudio is seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer to collaborate with our team on residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in structural engineering, experience in structural analysis and design, and the ability to coordinate effectively with architects and other engineering disciplines.
The position is offered on a contract basis, with the possibility of extending the collaboration.
Responsibilities
• Perform structural design and analysis for building projects
• Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documentation
• Develop detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD and relevant engineering software
• Ensure compliance with Eurocodes, Greek building regulations (NOK), and applicable technical standards
• Collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other project consultants
• Review architectural designs and develop appropriate structural engineering solutions
• Coordinate structural design throughout the different stages of a project
• Provide technical support and resolve structural engineering issues during construction
• Manage assigned tasks and deliverables according to project requirements and deadlines
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering
• Experience in structural design and analysis
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and Greek building regulations (NOK)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience with structural analysis and calculation software
• Ability to prepare structural calculations, technical reports, detailed drawings, and technical documentation
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Good written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities
Previous experience in residential, hospitality, or commercial building projects will be considered an advantage.
