Job Summary: We are looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join our remote team at Sweve Tech Limited. This role involves designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and industry standards. Youll be responsible for preparing cost estimates, specifications, and project schedules, and closely monitoring construction activitiesall while enjoying the flexibility to work from home or a location of your choice. Key Responsibilities: 1. Remote Project Planning and Design: - Collaborate with a distributed team to develop detailed designs and project plans using state-of-the-art design software. - Prepare accurate project specifications, cost estimates, and schedules while working in a flexible environment. - Conduct virtual site assessments and recommend suitable design solutions. 2. Remote Cost Estimation and Budgeting: - Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for various civil engineering projects, accounting for materials, labor, and equipment. - Manage project budgets effectively and suggest cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards. 3. Flexible Project Scheduling and Coordination: - Prepare and maintain remote project schedules, ensuring on-time delivery across all phases. - Coordinate virtually with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to streamline project execution and communication. 4. Remote Monitoring and Quality Assurance: - Supervise construction activities from a remote standpoint while ensuring adherence to design specifications and industry standards. - Conduct regular remote audits and virtual site inspections to maintain high-quality project outcomes. 5. Regulatory Compliance and Documentation: - Ensure that all project designs and construction activities comply with applicable regulations, codes, and best practices. - Prepare and manage digital documentation, permits, and other regulatory requirements. 6. Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: - Provide timely updates and comprehensive reports to project managers, clients, and other stakeholders using virtual communication tools. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, mechanical engineers, and electrical engineer's to provide integrated solutions. 7. Risk Management and Problem-Solving: - Anticipate potential project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies in a remote working environment. - Address and resolve engineering-related issues promptly with minimal disruption to the projects progress. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred). - Proven experience in civil engineering, with expertise in remote project management, design, and cost estimation. - Strong proficiency in industry-standard engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit). - Ability to manage multiple projects remotely with excellent time-management and organizational skills. - Excellent communication skills with experience in virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, MS Teams, Zoom). - Analytical problem-solving abilities, combined with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
