Here at Royal London, we are looking for a Claims Administrator to join our Operations team, supporting the administration of Life, Serious Illness and Income Protection claims.

In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring claims are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements, while providing a professional and empathetic service to brokers, customers and their families.


What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the administration of Life, Serious Illness and Income Protection claims and enquiries.
  • Processing and checking claim documentation, calculations and payments in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and updating internal systems.
  • Working closely with Claims Assessors to support the assessment and management of claims.
  • Handling customer and broker enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Supporting the triage of claims-related calls.
  • Ensuring all activities are completed in line with Consumer Protection Code, GDPR and Treating Customers Fairly principles.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and helping to enhance the customer experience.


About you

We're looking for someone who is customer-focused, organised and able to balance accuracy with empathy.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Experience within Financial Services, Insurance, Life & Pensions or a customer service environment.
  • Knowledge of Life, Serious Illness and Income Protection products.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately within service level agreements.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • A positive, collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new systems.


Qualifications

  • APA Life, Pensions and Investments qualification as a minimum.
  • Commitment to achieve QFA within an agreed timeframe.
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements within the Irish Life & Pensions industry would be advantageous.


Our approach to compensation is designed to help us attract, inspire and retain the best talent. We aim to pay employees fairly and competitively across all levels and roles. The base salary range for this position is:

€43,200 to € 47,520


This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; and qualifications. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
