Personal Injury Claims Handler – Dublin 8 | Match Recruitment

Match Recruitment is delighted to be assisting a dynamic, fast-growing claims management company in Dublin 8 in their search for an experienced Personal Injury Claims Handler to join their highly motivated claims team.

Salary: €50,000 – €65,000 + annual bonus, DOE

Location: Dublin 8, hybrid (predominantly remote, one day per week office-based, subject to court attendance)

The Role:

• Handle a diverse portfolio of predominantly Motor claims, with some EL & PL, cradle to grave
• Investigate, assess and settle claims within your personal authority level, in line with client SLAs and KPIs
• Ensure cover and indemnity is correctly applied, and validity checks are carried out
• Pursue indemnities and recoveries on behalf of clients where appropriate
• Investigate potentially fraudulent claims and liaise with relevant departments
• Liaise with clients, policyholders, brokers, solicitors and the Injuries Board
• Instruct panel solicitors on litigated files to achieve optimum outcomes
• Support client reporting and continuous process improvement

What We're Looking For:

• 3-5 years' claims handling experience, preferably in personal injury
• CIP qualified (minimum requirement)
• Strong knowledge of CPC, Data Protection and Central Bank regulatory requirements
• Good working knowledge of the Irish legal system in relation to personal injury/civil claims
• Ability to accurately reserve an injury file
• Excellent negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills
