- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Law, Logistics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of EU law, maritime and transport law, transport conventions, and transport insurance law is preferred.
- Claims handling and liability assessment.
- Contract interpretation and legal analysis.
- Negotiation and risk assessment.
- Data analysis and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer focus.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Investigate claims and assess liability.
- Evaluate supporting documentation and evidence.
- Negotiate settlements and issue claim decisions when instructed.
- Maintain claim files and monitor limitation periods.
- Pursue recovery actions against subcontractors.
- Coordinate with insurers and external lawyers when instructed.
- Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and Finance.
- Record and maintain claim data in the Claims Management System (CMS).
- Support trend analysis and root cause analysis of claims.
