Are you passionate about animals and driven to help others? Join our Niche Pet Claims team, where your empathy and dedication can make a real difference in the lives of pet owners. As a Claims Management Officer, you’ll be at the forefront of helping our members navigate the claims process, providing them with the support and assurance they need during challenging times.
Working in a fast-paced environment, every day will be different, you’ll enjoy continuous learning, building rapport and collaborating in this positive and supportive team.

This role is predominantly home-based, offering hybrid work arrangements outside the 6-week training period.
This is a 12-month max-term role. This role operates on an 7.5 hour shift schedule, between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday. You’ll be based in Eight Mile Plains, Meanjin (Brisbane).

What You'll Do
• Assist our members with empathy and kindness, providing support and advice.
• Manage claims end-to-end, handling calls professionally and making accurate decisions.
• Discuss and negotiate settlement options clearly and honestly with stakeholders.
• Apply Product Disclosure Statements and process documentation to ensure transparency, consistency, and compliance.
• Participate in coaching and training to build your and your team’s capabilities

What You'll Bring

• Experience in a customer-facing role; insurance industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a confident and personable approach.
• Self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Ability to multitask and manage call volumes
• Tech-savvy and proven ability to confidently use multiple systems and platforms simultaneously
