Aon is currently recruiting a Claims Specialist who will become part of our Casualty Claims Team within the Global Broking Centre located in London.

What the day will look like

In this exciting role, you will be engaged in the management and administration of new and existing notifications, collections and the successful resolution of a portfolio of Casualty claims. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Dealing with first notification of claims, subsequent updates and collections
• Dealing with markets, client and placement teams, network offices, underwriters and appointed third parties (loss adjusters, lawyers etc) in conjunction with the claim lead(s)
• Help facilitate and follow up on the payment and settlement of claims for clients with underwriters
• Coordinate discussions and meetings to support an outstanding level of communication between the client, underwriter and their representatives concerning the handling and settlement of claims
• Conduct analysis to establish claims history for an account or business portfolio. Identify trends and patterns in claims for customers or business segments.
• Liaison with other teams as vital to ensure sharing of relevant information and any other tasks that Aon and your line manager might reasonably require
• Work with other Aon personnel in various regions globally to ensure strong service delivery to our clients

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Experience handling claims from Initial Report of Loss to resolution
• Knowledge of Casualty Claims an advantage (although supported by development opportunities through the experienced team in place)
• Experience of the CLASS and ECF Processing system (preferable)
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• A-level or equivalent and Cert CII desirable
