  • Coach and mentor Claims Consultants and Senior Claims Consultants to strengthen technical capability, judgement, decision-making and confidence.
  • Support the development and uplift of delegated authority through targeted coaching, claim reviews and technical guidance.
  • Facilitate case conferences, technical forums and claim strategy discussions to support consistent decision-making and shared learning.
  • Partner with leaders to identify technical capability gaps and establish appropriate coaching, training and development initiatives.
  • Support quality assurance, audit, governance and risk activities and contribute to improvements arising from identified trends or themes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve claims processes, technical guidance and ways of working, contributing to consistent and best-practice claims management.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and relevant external partners, including rehabilitation providers, medical professionals and superannuation fund partners.
  • Significant experience in Group Life Insurance claims, with demonstrated technical expertise across TPD and Income Protection claims.
  • Strong experience managing complex, sensitive and adverse claims and providing sound technical recommendations.
