Make a real difference in people's lives with EML
Are you passionate about helping people get their lives back after injury or illness?
As Australia’s largest specialist in personal injury claims management, our sole focus is helping people return to work safely and confidently after a workplace incident.
The Claims Treatment Specialist, Physiotherapy role sits within our largest business unit – NI (Nominal Insurer) which provides workers compensation to more than 326,000 employers and 3.6 million workers in NSW. This role will see you utilise your clinical expertise to review the effectiveness of Worker's physiotherapy treatment in line with SIRA's Clinical Framework of the Delivery of Health Services. You will support claims teams by ensuring the right questions are considered in the approval of Allied Health Treatment Requests (AHTRs). You will oversee physiotherapy treatment progress and provide guidance to build the capability of operational team members. This will help them better assess and manage physiotherapy treatment.
The role will have you communicating and negotiating with external treating physiotherapists to address injury recovery and treatment plans and educate them on completing AHTRs. This dynamic role requires someone who is adaptable and can identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
You will hold a current AHPRA registration and bring strong clinical experience, ideally within the workers compensation sector.
We’re now welcoming applications to join our supportive, purpose‑driven team in Sydney on a full-time, maximum term contract to October 2027. This is deeply meaningful work where your empathy, problem‑solving and commitment have a profound impact every single day.
