Job Description Job Title: Client Accountant – UAE Tax & Compliance Location: Lahore Company: Lynchpin Consulting Department: Accounting & Tax Advisory Reports To: Manager Consulting Job Overview: Lynchpin Consulting, a leading service company in Dubai, UAE, engaged in Accounting and Tax Services, and IT Consulting, is seeking a skilled and experienced resource in Accounting and (UAE) VAT for a remote position. This role involves managing critical accounting functions and overseeing VAT return filings for our diverse clientele in Dubai. The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of accounting practices and VAT regulations specific to the UAE, combined with the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Responsibilities: Accounting Management : Handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE tax laws. VAT Return Filing : Prepare and file VAT and Corporate Tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with UAE tax laws and regulations. Client Liaison : Act as a point of contact for clients regarding accounting and VAT matters, providing expert advice and support. Financial Reporting : Prepare financial statements and reports, offering insights and recommendations based on financial analysis. Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation. Compliance and Auditing : Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Assist in auditing processes as required. Collaboration : Work closely with other team members to ensure a cohesive financial strategy and client satisfaction. Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and VAT laws, continually enhancing your knowledge and skills. Requirements ACCA/CA(Inter) or equivalent qualification. Minimum 2 years experience in handling the Accounting, and Tax Returns. Added advantage if you have experience with specific expertise in UAE VAT return filing. Strong understanding of UAE tax laws will be a big plus. Proficiency in accounting software and tools e.g. Quickbooks/Zoho Books etc. Attention to details skill is a must as this job requires analyzing clients' transactions and then arranging them before posting in the accounting software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively. This is a MUST requirement as this job requires independently supporting the client over zoom calls/chat/email. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a high degree of self-motivation and discipline.
