Here, you’ll shape industry-defining work, influence client outcomes, and build your career within a business that combines a proud history with the energy of a fast-growing global organisation.
We are seeking an experienced Client Delivery Manager, Commercial to take ownership of key client contracts and commercial relationships across our Retirement Solutions business. Acting as a trusted commercial partner, you will be responsible for managing contractual obligations, overseeing service delivery outcomes, and ensuring strong commercial governance across a portfolio of strategic clients.
This is a highly visible role that requires deep superannuation industry experience, exceptional stakeholder management capability, and a strong understanding of contract management within a complex service environment.
About the Role
As the Client Delivery Manager, Commercial, you will manage the commercial relationship with a key superannuation fund client, ensuring contractual commitments are delivered while identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships and maximise value for both clients and MUFG.
Working closely with Client Delivery Executives and senior internal stakeholders, you will be accountable for contract management, commercial performance, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, debtor management, and supporting ongoing transformation and regulatory initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage client contracts, ensuring contractual obligations are understood, monitored, and delivered effectively.
- Manage the commercial relationship with key client stakeholders while supporting the ongoing delivery of services and agreed outcomes.
- Partner with internal business leaders to coordinate and oversee work being delivered to clients, driving accountability across teams.
- Lead contract variations, renewals, commercial negotiations, and interpretation of contractual requirements.
- Monitor and manage budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, debtors, indexation and revenue reconciliation activities to minimise revenue leakage.
- Analyse client profitability, service performance, and commercial outcomes, providing reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth through additional services, transformation initiatives, and fee-for-service activities.
- Support governance, risk, compliance and service quality outcomes within a highly regulated superannuation environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Significant experience within the superannuation industry, ideally in a commercial, client delivery, account management or relationship management capacity.
- Proven experience managing commercial contracts and overseeing contractual service delivery.
- Strong client management experience with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience managing financial and commercial outcomes, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing and revenue management.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret contracts, identify risks, and negotiate outcomes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication capabilities.
- Experience operating within a complex regulated environment and managing competing priorities.
Qualifications
- Degree qualification in Finance, Commerce, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a management, leadership or senior commercial role within the superannuation industry.
