Job: Client Director

Type: Hybrid / Full Time / 37.50 hours per week / Monday to Friday

Travel is required to our offices and clients on a regular basis

Salary: £DOE

Purpose of Role:


The Client Director is a senior business development role within Bright Horizons' Work + Family division, focused on securing high-value enterprise contracts worth seven figures+.

This strategic position requires an exceptional sales professional who can operate as a trusted advisor to senior executives, bringing deep market insights and compelling business cases that demonstrate the tangible ROI of our work-life solutions.


The successful candidate will target Global Heads of Benefits & Rewards and Chief People Officers at enterprise-level organisations, building comprehensive relationships across multiple stakeholder groups throughout complex sales cycles.


This role combines strategic selling excellence with collaborative internal partnership, working closely with our Client Relationship Directors to ensure seamless transition from prospect to long-term client success.

Operating within our Salesforce CRM ecosystem, the Client Director will maintain rigorous sales discipline while embodying Bright Horizons' HEART principles in every client interaction and internal collaboration.

What You'll Do

  • Win new enterprise business opportunities and achieve ambitious revenue targets
  • Develop strategic account plans and manage complex sales cycles
  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and C-suite leaders
  • Create compelling ROI-led business cases and value propositions
  • Deliver executive presentations and commercial proposals
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting through Salesforce
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful client onboarding and long-term success

Essential Experience

  • Significant B2B enterprise sales experience with a proven track record of winning and closing high-value contracts
  • Consistent achievement against ambitious sales targets, including seven-figure deals
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Success building relationships with C-suite executives and senior HR leaders
  • Strong consultative and solution-based selling experience
  • Experience developing ROI-driven business cases and commercial proposals
  • Advanced Salesforce CRM proficiency
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • MBA or other relevant advanced qualification desirable
  • Professional sales training or certifications such as Challenger Sale, Miller Heiman, SPIN Selling, or equivalent are advantageous
  • Experience within employee benefits, HR technology, employee wellbeing, professional services, or related sectors is desirable
