Job Title: Client Onboarding Agent

Monthly Pay: $3,533 - $4,962 USD per month

Summary:

A client onboarding request arrives, gets checked, moves through account setup, and closes with clear next steps. This agent handles those steps directly so new clients can begin using services with accurate information and fewer delays. The position sits within the client support team and works under a customer service team lead. It works with clients, account contacts, and the support team to answer questions and resolve setup gaps. This contract position is fully remote, offering work from home in Florida, United States. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review incoming onboarding requests from a Support platform such as Salesforce Service Cloud, checking the request history before contacting the client and starting the setup checklist.
  • Confirm the client's service selection, business contact information, and setup needs against the details already available, asking clear questions when information is missing.
  • Create or update client profiles in a CRM such as HubSpot, entering verified contact details, onboarding progress, and the next action without duplicating existing entries.
  • Guide clients through standard account activation steps, explaining where to find service information and how to complete the actions assigned to them.
  • Answer routine questions about getting started, available service features, and support channels using approved reference materials rather than guessing about unfamiliar requests.
  • Check submitted setup details for completeness and consistency, correct permitted entry errors, and confirm changes with the client when clarification is needed.
  • Follow up on outstanding client actions, describe what remains incomplete, and record the response and next follow-up point in the shared request history.
  • Escalate access issues or requests outside standard instructions to the support team or customer service team lead, including the steps already attempted.
  • Confirm that standard onboarding steps are complete, send a concise recap of service access and support options, and close the request with complete notes.
  • Meet quality expectations through accurate entries, timely turnaround, complete notes, and dependable follow-up, using feedback from reviewed requests to improve subsequent work.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No experience required; related client support, administrative assistance, or account setup experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of client onboarding, including checking contact details, following setup instructions, and explaining next steps to new service users.
  • Familiarity with CRM and support platform workflows preferred, including profile updates, request status changes, and readable interaction notes.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for answering questions, requesting missing information, and explaining unfamiliar steps without unnecessary technical language.
  • Ability to follow checklists, compare information carefully, and distinguish routine requests from issues requiring assistance from the team lead.
  • Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet private workspace suitable for confidential client conversations.
  • Availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Perks & Benefits:

  • Fully remote work from home with desk-based responsibilities and ongoing interaction with the client support team.
  • Structured onboarding and training on the CRM and support platform examples named above, alongside standard account setup procedures.
  • Regular check-ins with the team lead to review questions, discuss request handling, and identify practical improvements.
  • Opportunities to build client onboarding, service communication, account administration, and systematic follow-up skills through daily work.
  • Health coverage, paid leave, a 401(k), bonus opportunities, and stipends.
