In this role, you will help coordinate client work orders, maintain accurate records, support audit requests, prepare quotations and client communications, and assist with status reporting and other day-to-day operational activities. You will work closely with colleagues across different regions, including team members in Mexico and China, making this a great opportunity to gain experience in an international and collaborative environment.

We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with Excel, and confident communicating in both English and Spanish. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional or recent graduate interested in developing their experience in client operations, auditing and inspection-related services.

This is a hybrid position based in our Mexico City office.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and process assigned client work orders in a timely and organized manner.
  • Support client and supplier onboarding activities, including preparing and sending starter kits and quotations.
  • Receive, coordinate, and follow up on audit requests from clients.
  • Maintain accurate client and project information within internal systems, including the SMETA portal.
  • Communicate with clients across Latin America and North America, responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and send payment reminders when required.
  • Prepare client status updates and support the development of weekly and recurring reports.
  • Use Excel to maintain, organize, and report operational information.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Client Relations, Business Support, regional teams, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare proposals, report specifications, and other client documentation as needed.
  • Identify issues, coordinate with relevant stakeholders, and support practical solutions.
  • Follow UL Solutions' Code of Conduct and applicable physical and digital security practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related discipline.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues verbally and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and other standard business applications.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and follow-ups in a structured manner.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across different locations and cultures.

Nice to have:

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in operations, client services, auditing, inspections, compliance, or a related environment.
  • Previous knowledge of or exposure to audits and inspections.
  • Experience preparing client or operational reports.
  • Portuguese language skills.
