Build trusted client relationships across Employee Share Plans
MUFG Pension & Market Services is looking for an experienced Client Relationship Manager to join our Employee Share Plans (ESP) team in Perth.
This is a client-facing role for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, understanding client needs and working across teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. You'll manage a portfolio of corporate clients, act as a trusted point of contact and help ensure their services are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed requirements.
Experience in Employee Share Plans will be highly regarded but is not essential. What matters is a genuine interest in this specialist area, strong client relationship experience and a willingness to develop your knowledge of Employee Share Plans.
You'll also have the opportunity to identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships, support business growth and contribute to strategic initiatives across the business.
Please note: this role requires an 8:00am start, so applicants must be comfortable working these hours.
What you'll be responsible for
- Manage a portfolio of corporate clients and build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
- Act as the key point of contact for client queries, service requirements and delivery.
- Work closely with internal teams to coordinate the timely and accurate delivery of client services.
- Develop a strong understanding of each client's requirements and employee share plan arrangements.
- Manage client expectations and contribute to service level agreements and commercial discussions.
- Develop account plans and identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and support business growth.
- Identify cross-selling and new business opportunities across MUFG Pension & Market Services.
- Prepare and review regular client reporting, billing and fee information.
- Identify operational and client risks and ensure appropriate controls are in place.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with company secretaries and other client contacts.
- Contribute to process improvement and strategic initiatives across the Employee Share Plans business.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone with strong client relationship experience and a background in financial services, securities or a related services environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience managing corporate client relationships and building trusted, long-term partnerships.
- Employee Share Plans experience is highly regarded, but not essential. A strong interest in learning about and developing expertise in this field is important.
- Experience working closely with operational teams in a transaction-based or financial services environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to understand client needs and identify opportunities to improve service and strengthen relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisation, analytical and process management skills, with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience managing projects or coordinating initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- A relevant degree or qualification in business, finance or accounting would be advantageous.
Why join us?
