Overview
At Lupa, we're hiring for a Client Success Manager to join a fast-growing, AI-native fintech team transforming how US lenders operate. We're building an AI-native Loan Origination System (LOS) designed for automation, trusted by US finance companies, credit unions, and banks to modernize their lending operations.
This is not a support or implementation role. In this position, you own the client relationship from signed contract through renewal. You receive a portfolio of clients and you are accountable for each one — their trusted point of contact, commercial partner, and the reason they stay, grow, and vouch for us. You'll work remotely from LATAM, with regular on-site visits to US clients.
If you love owning relationships end to end, carrying real revenue targets, and working at the frontier of AI, this is your seat.
What You'll Do
Be your clients' single point of contact from kickoff to renewal, with consistent, well-documented communication.
Find where our product or service falls short and follow every gap with Product, Deployment, Support, or Engineering until it's closed — you don't fix it yourself, you make sure the right team does.
Visit clients on site to run in-person business reviews, user-journey sessions, and surveys, then bring those insights back to the team.
Prepare every renewal well ahead of time, and negotiate and close renewals and upsells — especially for automation products.
Track each client's usage and volume against their contract, and act early when the numbers drift.
Lead business reviews and make sure every commitment that comes out of them gets done.
Always know how your clients feel, and escalate fast when something is off.
Turn happy clients into references that help win new credit unions and banks.
Who You Are
Must-haves:
Near-native spoken and written English — every client is a US financial institution.
Confident, polished communication in front of executives; you read the room whether it's a CEO or an operations team.
Proven ability to surface what's really hurting a client, even when they're frustrated, and drive calmly to a clear solution.
Direct experience working with US-based clients.
Experience negotiating renewals or upsells tied to real revenue numbers, and comfort carrying retention and expansion targets.
Typically 3+ years in client success, account management, or another client-facing commercial role, ideally in B2B SaaS or fintech.
A product mindset — you understand how problems get solved and spot patterns across clients.
An agentic approach: AI is part of your daily work, and you build your own automations without being asked.
Startup or scale-up experience, with the appetite to help write the playbook rather than follow one.
Rigor and discipline with written follow-up and client data.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience with on-site visits or in-person business reviews.
Experience in lending, fintech, banking, or credit unions.
A background in product management or building products.
What's In It For You
Competitive compensation, remote-first, with LATAM working hours and real autonomy.
Full-time B2B contractor engagement.
Remote from LATAM, with regular travel to US client sites.
Work at the frontier of AI — the best agentic tools, fully covered, used in your everyday work.
Real ownership — you own your clients and their success, with no layers in between.
Visible impact — US credit unions originate real loans for real people on what we build.
Room to grow — a Series A company (over $25M raised, backed by top-tier investors) where your scope grows as fast as you do.
