About AARC
AARC Management Consultants is a Dublin-based advisory firm working with multilateral development banks, UN agencies and governments, including the World Bank, ADB, AfDB, the EU, GCF, ILO and IDB. We are growing our climate finance practice and are looking for someone to drive our opportunity pipeline and bids.
What You Will Do
- Track new tenders and funding opportunities from the World Bank, ADB, AfDB, EU, UN agencies, GCF and GEF.
- Keep our pipeline of opportunities up to date.
- Recommend which bids we should go for, and why.
- Manage bids end to end: deadlines, documents, CVs, partner inputs and final submission.
- Research clients, countries and competitors to strengthen our proposals.
- Find and build relationships with partner firms and experts.
- Draft parts of proposals, such as cover letters and company experience.
- Follow up on results and feedback so each bid is better than the last.
What You Will Bring
- At least 5 years of professional experience, including hands-on work in climate finance, green economy, sustainable finance or environmental programmes.
- Practical exposure to GCF, GEF, Adaptation Fund, CIF or MDB climate operations.
- Hands on experience preparing or coordinating proposals, EOIs or funding applications.
- Excellent written English and the ability to deliver clear, compliant text under deadline.
- Strong organisation skills and confidence working remotely and independently.
- Experience with a development consulting firm or donor-funded projects (for example UNDP, USAID, GIZ, ADB, AfDB or GGGI)
- Familiarity with MDB and UN procurement portals and methods such as QCBS.
