Description

The Clinical Scheduling Trainer - Quality Assurance is responsible for training, coaching, and supporting Clinical Scheduling team members who coordinate mobile dental services for skilled nursing facilities. This role partners with leadership to ensure scheduling accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established processes through onboarding, ongoing education, quality assurance reviews, and process improvement initiatives.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Lead onboarding and training for new Clinical Scheduling team members.
  2. Provide ongoing education, coaching, and support to enhance performance and knowledge.
  3. Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, and process documentation.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert for scheduling processes and best practices.
  5. Communicate process updates and training initiatives to team members.
  6. Conduct quality audits to ensure scheduling accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  7. Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.
  8. Ensure policies, procedures, and training materials remain current and standardized.
  9. Partner with Scheduling Leadership and cross-functional teams to support organizational goals.
  10. Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

Clinical Scheduling Expertise – the individual has a deep understanding of clinical scheduling workflows and best practices

Process Improvement – ability to analyze processes and identify opportunities for improvement

Team Development – the individual has strong coaching and relationship-building skills

Presentation Skills – the individual has ability to present information clearly and confidently to individuals and groups.

Quality control/Attention to detail – the individual has commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement; monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance

Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events

Dependability—the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance

Computer skills – considerable knowledge of computer systems/programs including Excel and Adobe. Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and navigate new or complex software systems. Ability to work in and utilize multiple systems concurrently.


Education & Training

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred – equivalent work experience accepted

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

  • Work is performed at our Overland Park, KS office with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer. After 6 months, there is the potential of a hybrid working environment of up to 2 days per week from home.
  • This is a full-time position working standard business hours Monday – Friday.
