Who We're Looking For

Codeworks is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join an enterprise application delivery team supporting a large-scale platform modernization and enhancement initiative.

This opportunity is ideal for a QA professional who enjoys working closely with business and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. The role supports ongoing platform enhancements, workflow improvements, upgrades, and release activities within a highly collaborative Agile environment.


Position Details

  • Position: Quality Assurance Analyst (ServiceNow)
  • Location: Milwaukee, WI
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
  • Duration: 12-Month Contract


Responsibilities

  • Support testing efforts across platform enhancements, upgrades, releases, and modernization initiatives.
  • Create and execute functional, regression, integration, UAT, and upgrade validation test plans and test cases.
  • Develop risk-based testing strategies and ensure appropriate test coverage.
  • Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution.
  • Validate platform configuration changes, workflows, business rules, forms, notifications, UI policies, ACLs, and other user-facing functionality.
  • Coordinate testing activities, test data creation, and release validation efforts across environments.
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve automation and regression coverage.
  • Develop repeatable and automated testing solutions where appropriate.
  • Analyze testing results and collaborate with development teams to identify root causes and validate fixes.
  • Partner closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and QA team members throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement sessions, and design reviews.
  • Support QA process improvements, testing standards, and quality best practices.
  • Develop and maintain QA metrics and reporting to identify trends, quality risks, and improvement opportunities.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of IT, Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Software Development experience.
  • Strong experience creating and executing functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing strategies.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
  • Experience testing enterprise applications, platforms, or third-party software solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, defect management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test coverage.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing ServiceNow applications and platform functionality.
  • Familiarity with:
  • Automated Testing Framework (ATF)
  • Business Rules
  • UI Policies
  • ACLs
  • Forms
  • Workflows
  • Configuration-driven development
  • Experience with ServiceNow administration or development.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and test automation tools.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Quality Center, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot platform behavior, reproduce issues, validate fixes, and support regression testing activities.
  • Experience supporting enterprise Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments.

Compensation

The base range for this contract position is $45.00-$65.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
