Discover a new kind of career in healthcare as a Clinical Assessor!
If you’re a registered Nurse, Psychologist, Paramedic, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist ready to step away from shift work and hands-on care, this could be your perfect next move!
We offer a values-driven environment – our Capita Values of Customers First, Fearless innovation, Achieve Together and Everyone is Valued underpin how we treat each other and our clients.
We offer full-time (5 days/37.5hrs) or (part-time 4 days/30hrs per week) opportunities
Please note you must reside in the UK to be eligible for this role.
As a Clinical Assessor you will undertake clinical functional assessments for applicants to the Troubles Permanent Disablement Payment Scheme (TPDPS) to determine the level of permanent disablement caused by a Trouble Related Incident(s) and produce a structured assessment report to the Victims’ Payments Board decision makers.
In January 2020 the Victims’ Payments Regulations 2020 were published and the Department of Justice was designated to administer the scheme. In 2021, TPDPS opened for applications from those living with permanent physical or psychological injury caused by a Troubles-Related Incident and posthumous applications.
The purpose of the scheme is to acknowledge the harm suffered by those injured in the Troubles and promote reconciliation between people in connection with Northern Ireland’s troubled past.
What we offer
- Excellent training and ongoing support – be part of our valued team where wellbeing is prioritised
- Largely remote working – with potential travel once or twice per month to conduct assessments
- Full or part time hours (minimum 4 days per week)

- A competitive starting salary of £39,500. We offer a career pathway programme which can increase your salary up to £41,400 plus up to 10% bonus scheme
Please note, due to business needs, part-time staff will be required to work on a Wednesday each week as part of their usual pattern. Also there will be an initial full time (paid) training period of 7 weeks so candidates must be able to commit to that.
Other benefits
