Clinical Business Analyst – Patient Access

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Business Analyst / Clinical Informatics Analyst with strong expertise in Patient Access, Registration, and Scheduling within acute-care healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a Clinical Business Analyst, Clinical Informatics Analyst, or equivalent supporting Patient Access-related initiatives, including Registration and Scheduling.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design, and business analysis documentation.
• Demonstrated experience working with acute-care Health Information Systems (EHR/CIS) and healthcare operations related to Patient Access.
• Experience supporting Health Information Systems / CIS implementation projects as a Business Analyst or Clinical Informatics Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with Registration and Scheduling workflows, processes, and system functionality.
• Experience working with healthcare stakeholders, clinical teams, and technical teams to translate business and clinical requirements into effective system solutions.
• Experience supporting large-scale healthcare implementations within a Canadian acute-care healthcare environment.

Ideal Background

• The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of acute-care operations, Patient Access, Registration, Scheduling, EHR/CIS implementations, clinical workflows, requirements analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
