Description
CTG is seeking to fill a Clinical Imaging Application Analyst position for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 4 months
Duties:
- Support, administer, and optimize enterprise clinical imaging applications across the healthcare organization.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA), dictation systems, and integrated imaging platforms.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between radiology, clinical departments, physicians, imaging technologists, vendors, and IT teams.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution to maintain system availability, performance, and data integrity.
- Analyze and optimize clinical imaging workflows to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Support interoperability between imaging applications, electronic health records (EHRs), and third-party clinical systems.
- Collaborate with technical teams and vendors on system upgrades, implementations, integrations, testing, and issue resolution.
- Monitor application performance and ensure imaging systems meet clinical and operational requirements.
- Provide technical guidance, user support, and documentation for imaging application processes and configurations.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of enterprise imaging systems, including PACS, Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA), and radiology dictation applications.
- Experience with clinical imaging workflows, radiology operations, and healthcare IT systems.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability, system integrations, and EHR connectivity.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with clinical users, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve complex application issues in a healthcare environment.
Experience:
- Experience supporting and administering clinical imaging applications in a healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting PACS, VNA, dictation systems, and related imaging technologies.
- Experience supporting application integrations and interoperability between imaging systems, EHRs, and third-party applications.
- Experience with application upgrades, testing, implementations, workflow optimization, and production support.
- Experience working with radiology departments, physicians, imaging technologists, and IT stakeholders is preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent relevant education and experience may be considered.
- Relevant healthcare IT, clinical imaging, or vendor-specific certifications are a plus.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00 to $70.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
