Is this job info correct?

Cancer is a race against time. Found early, it is often survivable. Found late, the options narrow and the outcomes change. C the Signs uses AI to identify patients at risk of cancer at the earliest, most curable stage. Our platform reads over 1,000 validated, evidence-based data points from a patient's record and directs the right patient to the right pathway, in under 60 seconds. We have supported the detection of more than 85,000 cancers across 107 cancer types, and we are used by over 19,000 users. We do this through three products: Clinical decision support — real-time cancer risk assessment inside EMIS and SystmOne, guiding clinicians to the right next step during a consultation Population case finding — searching records at scale to identify patients at risk who have not yet presented Direct-to-patient assessments — giving patients a route to understand their own risk and reach the right pathway sooner We were built by doctors. Clinical expertise is not something we consult at the end of the process, it is how we build. We are now looking for a Clinical Product Lead to bring that expertise into the heart of our product team. This role You will join our growing Product team, working at the point where clinical practice meets product innovation. Reporting to the UK Product Director, you will be embedded across two product squads as the clinical mind on the team, working day to day with product managers, engineers, designers, customer success, commercial and leadership. This is a hands-on role. You will shape features from first sketch to release, write and pressure-test the clinical logic behind them, and be accountable for the decisions you make. You will bring 360 feedback, discovery insight, commercial context and patient benefit into the room, and ground every product decision in how NHS care is actually delivered. You will also be one of our clinical faces to the outside world — in front of customers, in pitches and partnerships, presenting our evidence and our direction, and bringing what you hear back into product strategy. And you will help us push further. Our products are only as good as the clinical thinking behind them, and we want someone curious about what these tools could do next: where AI can find the patients we are still missing, where the experience could be simpler for a clinician with four minutes left, and where the next opportunity sits across our three products. We are looking for a doctor who wants to build , not only advise. What you’ll do Build the product Sit inside two product squads as the clinical lead, shaping features from first sketch through to release Write and pressure-test the clinical logic behind what we build: the pathways, the thresholds, the rules, and the words a clinician or patient actually reads Work through designs and prototypes alongside designers and engineers, testing them against how care is really delivered across primary, secondary and community settings Own the clinical call on new feature proposals — accuracy, feasibility and risk — and stand behind those decisions Translate clinical concepts into something the team can build against, and product concepts into something clinicians can judge Provide clinical input to our safety and regulatory teams on DCB0129/DCB0160 and MHRA SaMD requirements, so safety is designed in early rather than checked at the end Discovery and innovation Lead and support clinical discovery: clinician interviews, site visits and workflow observation across NHS and independent sector settings Synthesise NICE guidance, NHS England policy and clinical evidence to inform product direction Identify unmet clinical needs — particularly around NHS operational pressures, workforce constraints and pathway inefficiencies — and assess which represent product opportunities Bring new ideas to the roadmap, and help the team judge which are worth building Customers, commercial and growth Get in front of customers. Run sessions with NHS and independent sector clients, present our clinical evidence and product direction, and answer the difficult clinical questions in the room Act as the clinical voice in pitches, bids, tenders and partner conversations, supporting business development and commercial growth Bring commercial context back into product strategy: what customers are asking for, where conversations stall, and what would unlock the next opportunity Support go-to-market and customer success teams with clinical content, evidence and NHS implementation guidance Shaping how our AI performs Help define what a clinically correct output looks like: the ground truth, the edge cases, and the failure modes we are not willing to accept Contribute clinical input into how model performance is evaluated across releases, and how we interpret the results Advise on explainability — what a clinician or patient needs to see in order to trust, act on, or safely set aside a recommendation Bring a clinical view to performance across different populations and care settings, with attention to the communities most often left behind Implementation and adoption Advise on and project manage clinical implementation within NHS environments, from configuration decisions to change management for clinical staff navigating existing systems such as EMIS and SystmOne Contribute to clinical documentation, training materials and onboarding resources suited to NHS workflows Gather feedback from clinical and patient users post-launch, and feed those insights back into the product cycle Post-CCT in General Practice, with a minimum of 6 years' experience working as a doctor in the NHS Strong working knowledge of NHS structures, care settings, and the realities of frontline healthcare delivery in the UK 3-5 years of experience working for a digital health or healthtech business A genuine interest in AI and digital innovation in healthcare. You use these tools, you have a considered view on where they help and where they fall short, and you are excited by what they could do for early diagnosis Confident and credible in front of customers. You can present to a room of clinicians, commissioners or executives, hold your own on clinical detail, and represent the company well Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity and know how to make an impact without formal authority Experience leading clinical discovery with clients and partners, from scoping and recruiting the right voices through to synthesising insights and presenting findings to stakeholders Excellent verbal and written communication. You can make clinical complexity accessible without losing nuance, and communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders alike Experience with NHS system integrations and EHR workflows (EMIS, SystmOne) Familiarity with product development processes: discovery, sprint cycles, roadmapping Nice to have Experience supporting commercial activity — pitches, bids, tenders or partnership conversations — as a clinical voice Experience evaluating or validating clinical AI or machine learning tools Exposure to UK regulatory frameworks: ISO 13485, MHRA Class II SaMD, DCB0129/DCB0160 and DTAC Published clinical research, particularly in early diagnosis, screening or AI in healthcare Experience in an early-stage or scaling company The chance to shape products used by over 11,000 users, in a team that respects clinical expertise and builds it into the product process from day one A mission-driven environment where your work has a direct and measurable impact on patient outcomes — earlier diagnoses, in real practices, for real people Competitive salary Flexible working arrangements. We are a fully remote company Support for continued clinical practice Continuous learning and professional growth, with access to the latest tools and resources in product development and healthcare innovation
