Senior Product Analyst

As a Senior Analyst - Product/Insight at UNiDAYS, your responsibility is to foster high-quality decision-making through data. You will rely on your expertise to choose the right analytical tools to address the questions while promoting a test-and-learn approach among your stakeholdersYou’ll feel at ease collaborating across various functions, managing requests and insight projects. These projects will focus on actionable recommendations for stakeholders, whether you are operating at a tactical or strategic level.

• 4 years of prior experience in a product or insight role with demonstrable examples of problem statements or hypotheses through to analytical outputs.

• At least 3 years of intermediate-level experience with using SQL and statistical platforms (in an analytical context).
• At least 2 years of foundational-level experience with using Python and statistical analysis (in an analytical context).
• At least 1 year of experience working with mobile app analytics, capturing and utilizing app-specific data to evaluate user behavior and product performance.
• Practical exposure to clickstream and behavioral data platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude or similar), utilizing event data to map user journeys.
• An inquisitive nature to dig into problems & opportunities to deliver high-quality analytical output with a mindset which enables you to adapt your skill set to the needs of the business.
• A strong understanding of analytical principles, how to solve problems using data and how to self-assess the quality of your outputs.
• Experience of using good communication and stakeholder management, with proven examples of adapting for the audience, notably skilled in gathering the required information needed to scope, QA and sign off on analytical outputs.
• Desirable but not essential - experience with AWS, Big Query, data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker or similar).

What we need you to do

Delivery of Action and Impact from your insight and analytical projects:

• From brief to delivery, you will own and lead analytical deliverables and medium-sized insight projects that derive actionable insight supporting business, product, or digital performance.
• Bring an analytical mindset to early-stage initiatives, proactively taking ownership to propose measurement strategies for initiatives that extract maximum value and insight.
• Apply strong communication and collaboration skills to independently gain an understanding of problems/opportunities from stakeholders, defining clear insight or analytical project scope, setting goals, and defining key metrics for success.
• Present insights to stakeholders by translating complex information into simple language and visual data summaries, tailoring the narrative to maximize impact.

Applying technical expertise and analytical methods

• Independently apply SQL, spreadsheets, and Python/Tableau/Google Analytics effectively to conduct a range of analytics use cases, building a high level of automation/reusability into code and output.
• Lead on experiment design, rigorously designing experiments and interpreting results, understanding statistical trade-offs and uncertainty to select appropriate methods.
• Identify trends and patterns in complex data sets and their implications for the organization, designing analysis aligned with KPs and business impact.
• Provide input into team direction and support more junior team members in their development and the wider department's skill growth.
• Serve as a data-driven partner to product teams, defining key performance indicators and running statistically rigorous A/B tests to optimise new features.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis into the entire product lifecycle, identifying opportunities to improve user adoption, engagement, and retention for maximum business impact.
• Analyse and interpret complex product usage data and user behaviour to inform strategic decisions and guide the product roadmap.
