Clinical Product Specialist Hot Job Quick Apply Quick Apply Description Job Overview: The Clinical Product Specialist is a clinically knowledgeable, strategyfocused individual responsible for partnering within the Sales Division to drive strategy, adoption and revenue growth of Stratus hardware, software, consumables, and related product solutions within hospital and health system accounts. The role serves as a clinical and product resource and expert throughout the sales cycle, with particular emphasis on product demonstrations, clinical workflow discussions, value-based selling, and customer education. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial instincts with practical experience in Neurology, EEG, Neurodiagnostics, Neuro ICU and/or ICU environments and can clearly articulate both the clinical value and financial impact of product solutions. All work must adhere to the Company's standards of conduct and culture of compliance. Primary Competencies Required: Product Sales Acumen – Identifies customer needs, positions product value, overcomes objections, and suppors sales opportunities. Clinical & Product Expertise – Understands hospital, ICU, and ED workflows and effectively demonstrates products to clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders. Financial Acumen – Understands pricing, cost of ownership, budget impact, utilization, and ROI to communicate product value. Consultative Communication – Uses strong listening, presentation, and relationship-building skills to engage diverse customer audiences. Organization & Adaptability – Effectively manages multiple opportunities, priorities, and changing customer needs. Primary Job Responsibilities: Supports the sales of Stratus products and solutions within assigned hospital and health system accounts. Drive strategy for product launches and expansion including playbook generation, pricing guidance, and other duties as assigned. Partner with Sales to develop opportunities, position products, conduct demonstrations, and support conversions. Conduct product demonstrations, evaluations, and training for clinical and technical stakeholders, including participation in industry conferences and educational events such as AES, ACNS, Critical Care conferences, and ASET. Translate complex product and clinical information into clear clinical, operational, and financial value. Use a consultative approach to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions. Maintain strong knowledge of Neurology, Neurology Hardware, EEG/Neurodiagnostics, ICU/Neuro ICU workflows, competitive products, and market trends. Support product trials, implementation, education, and ongoing customer adoption. Navigate hospital purchasing, contracting, Biomedical Engineering, security, and IT/IS processes. Build relationships with clinical champions and key opinion leaders to support product adoption. Provide customer and market feedback to Sales, Product, Clinical, and Operations. Maintain accurate CRM documentation and support achievement of product revenue goals. Manage travel and expenses responsibly and in accordance with company guidelines. Adhere to HIPAA, confidentiality, Code of Conduct, and applicable compliance requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related clinical or business field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 3+ years of medical device, healthcare technology, clinical product, and B2B sales experience. Experience in Neurology, Neurology Hardware, EEG/Neurodiagnostics, Neuro ICU, or ICU environments strongly preferred. Experience with hospital-based product demonstrations, clinical education, or product evaluations preferred. Experience navigating complex hospital sales and key clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders preferred. Qualifications: Proven ability to sell and demonstrate clinical products effectively. Strong understanding of clinical workflows and hospital environments. Financially savvy with knowledge of pricing, budgets, cost impact, and ROI. Ability to translate technical product features into practical customer benefits. Strong presentation, relationship-building, negotiation, and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally. Ability to travel multiple days per week as needed. Required Licenses/Certification: • Current driver's license with proof of valid automobile insurance and safe driving record. Physical Requirements: • Ability to sit for extended periods of time. • Frequent walking and standing. • Ability to lift and transport product demonstration equipment up to 20 pounds. • Talking and hearing. • Reaching with hands and arms. • Frequent use of fingers and hands. • Clarity of vision - both near and far. • Ability to travel via automobile and/or airplane. Work Environment: • Hospital, ICU/Neuro ICU, neurodiagnostic/EEG, physician office, conference, and other clinical or customer settings. Hazards: • None beyond those normally associated with hospital and clinical environments.
