Clinician Experience Lead – Primary Care and ADHD Services – Hybrid

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Location: Hybrid in Surrey – Site attendance as required

Contract: Permanent, 6 month probation

Hours: 4 days per week (0.8 FTE) | Full-Time to be considered.

Are you a natural people-person who thrives on building relationships, solving problems and making others feel genuinely valued and supported?

We are partnering with a growing independent healthcare provider delivering ADHD assessment and treatment services across the UK.

As the service continues to develop, we are looking to appoint a Clinician Experience Lead to strengthen engagement, improve retention and ensure every GP, pharmacist and consultant feels connected to the organisation and supported throughout their journey

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly personable and organised individual who enjoys helping people, navigating challenging situations and taking ownership of problems. You will become a trusted point of contact for clinicians, acting as their advocate and ensuring they have someone approachable and dependable to turn to whenever they need support.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will take ownership of the clinician experience from offer onwards, building meaningful relationships and ensuring clinicians feel welcomed, valued and supported.

Working closely with clinical leadership, recruitment, scheduling, finance and IT, you will coordinate the resolution of non-clinical queries, manage sensitive conversations and ensure concerns are escalated to the appropriate people when necessary.

This is a hands-on, relationship-led position combining clinician engagement, problem-solving, onboarding support, communications and service improvement. You will play an important role in creating a positive clinician experience, freeing up senior clinical colleagues to focus on clinical responsibilities and helping the organisation build a more connected and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Clinician Journey

  • Personally welcome every new clinician with a call before their first clinic.
  • Check in after the first clinic, then at day 30 and day 90, and act on what they raise.
  • Keep a simple relationship record for each clinician: preferences, availability, milestones and open issues.
  • Hold stay conversations with clinicians whose sessions drop, and capture exist reasons.

Non-clinical Concierge

  • Act as the single front door for non-clinical queries: rotas, scheduling, invoicing and pay, systems access and equipment.
  • Resolve issues end to end with the relevant team, rather than redirecting the clinician.
  • Route clinical queries to the Clinical Quality Lead and log recurring issues for fixing at source.

Recognition and community

  • Run a recognition programme: thank-yous, milestones, clinician spotlights.
  • Produce a regular clinician newsletter with operational updates and service news.
  • Own the logistics and follow-through of GP town halls, including publishing actions taken

Insight

  • Run clinician NPS and pulse surveys, and close the loop on what clinicians say.
  • Report monthly to the COO on clinician experience themes, retention and query trends.

About You

We are interested in hearing from individuals with experience in a people-facing, relationship-led role, such as hospitality, customer service, client services, account management or medical staffing, who can demonstrate:

  • A genuine passion for working with people and building relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to make people feel comfortable and valued.
  • Emotional intelligence and confidence navigating challenging or sensitive situations.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple relationships and queries.
  • A proactive approach, taking ownership and following through without being chased.
  • Sound judgement, knowing when to resolve an issue independently and when to escalate it.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in healthcare, particularly supporting GPs, pharmacists or locum workforces.
  • Knowledge of NHS or private healthcare systems and terminology
  • Experience running internal communications, engagement surveys or recognition initiatives.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • The opportunity to make a meaningful difference and build a sense of belonging across a large, fractional, mostly remote workforce.
  • A relationship-led role where your ability to support and connect with people is central to success.
  • The opportunity to shape clinician engagement, recognition and retention, ensuring every GP, pharmacist and consultant feels known, supported, and valued.
  • A permanent position offering four days per week.

If you genuinely love people, thrive on solving problems and want to be a trusted source of support for clinicians, we would love to hear from you.
