Responsibilities

• Provision and operate VAEC environments, OpenShift clusters and RHEL hosts.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments with Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.
• Carry out cloud migrations, disaster recovery and capacity planning.
• Manage cloud networking, firewall rules, IAM and monitoring.
• Produce architecture, data-flow and cloud security documentation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years on AWS or Azure and 3+ years on OpenShift or Kubernetes (Mid / Level II).
• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD.
• RHEL administration.

Desired Skills:

• VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC) or AWS GovCloud.
• Cloud migration, disaster recovery and capacity planning.
• Cloud networking, firewall rules and IAM.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree.
• AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer, or Azure Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
• Red Hat Certified Specialist or Architect in OpenShift; Red Hat Enterprise Linux certification.

Clearance:

• Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.

Location:

• Remote, USA.

Pay Range:

• The suggested pay for this position ranges from $95,546 to $105,875.
• The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
• Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
