We're looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join a high-performing Data Platform team, working on cutting-edge cloud technologies that are transforming how data is replicated, streamed, and consumed across enterprise environments.

This role sits within a specialist Change Data Capture (CDC) team, focused on delivering scalable, resilient, and cloud-native data replication solutions. You'll work within a collaborative engineering environment, partnering with technical and business stakeholders to design and deliver solutions that drive real business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and administer modern data replication platforms using Oracle GoldenGate Microservices
• Implement and support Change Data Capture (CDC), data streaming and data replication solutions
• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions across AWS and Azure
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/OpenTofu
• Champion engineering best practices and modern software delivery principles
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Mentor and support other engineers within the team

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong experience with data movement technologies, including CDC, data streaming and replication
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle GoldenGate and modern replication platforms
• Experience deploying and supporting solutions in AWS and/or Azure
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or OpenTofu
• Experience working within modern DevOps environments and CI/CD practices
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Passion for learning and adopting emerging cloud technologies

Desirable Skills

• AWS and/or Azure Certifications
• Oracle GoldenGate Certifications
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise data platforms
