Cloud Engineer

OpenStack Engineer, London (Contract, Remote)

I’m working with a highly technical organisation that runs one of the more demanding private cloud environments in the UK, built to power large scale research where compute, storage and networking all have to perform. They’re looking for an experienced OpenStack Engineer on a 12 month contract.

What you’ll be working on:

• Running, scaling and improving a production OpenStack private cloud
• Automating deployment and lifecycle management with Ansible, Terraform and Python
• Working across Ceph storage, bare metal provisioning and the Linux layer underneath
• Solving performance and reliability problems across a large distributed platform
