We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with a strong AWS focus and additional exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to help design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms. You will work in a complex enterprise environment, supporting multi-cloud strategies while keeping AWS as the primary platform. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and operate AWS-based cloud architectures following best practices for security, scalability, and cost efficiency Support and integrate GCP services where required as part of a multi-cloud or hybrid setup Build and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS; GKE is a plus) Develop, maintain, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform across multiple environments and cloud providers Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve cloud platforms Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards Maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, EKS, CloudWatch) Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GKE, IAM, networking or core services) Solid knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) Strong expertise in Terraform (modules, state management, best practices) Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines Good understanding of Linux systems , networking, and cloud security principles Certifications (Preferred) AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate Additional GCP certifications are a plus, but not required (Certifications are considered a strong advantage but are not mandatory if equivalent hands-on experience is demonstrated.)
