About the Client
Our client is a growing U.S.-based B2B SaaS company building software that helps enterprise teams coordinate complex operations and work with real-time data. As its customer base grows, the engineering team is investing in the cloud infrastructure behind the product: reliable systems, faster deployments, strong observability, and room to scale.
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and improve the production environment behind our client's SaaS platform. You'll work across AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and monitoring, partnering with application engineers to support the backend systems that power customer-facing services and automated workflows.
Your work will make releases safer and the platform faster, more secure, and more reliable as it grows.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, including compute, containers, networking, storage, and managed database services.
- Use Terraform to make infrastructure changes repeatable, reviewable, and consistent across environments.
- Partner with backend engineers to identify bottlenecks in APIs, databases, and background jobs, then improve performance and capacity.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines that make deployments faster and safer, with clear rollback paths when releases cause issues.
- Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting so the team can detect problems early and understand their impact.
- Respond to production incidents, investigate root causes, and turn what you learn into lasting reliability improvements.
- Strengthen infrastructure security through access controls, secrets management, backups, and regular reviews of cloud configurations.
- Plan for growth by improving scalability, disaster recovery, and cloud cost efficiency; document the systems and decisions other engineers rely on.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, including 3+ years owning production infrastructure at a SaaS startup. Experience supporting frequent releases, growing customer usage, and evolving architecture is essential.
- 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of servers, databases, APIs, Linux, networking, and containers.
- Experience improving application performance, availability, monitoring, and incident response.
- Ability to automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Python, Go, or a similar language.
- Sound judgment around cloud security, access controls, secrets, and data protection.
- C1-level English and the ability to collaborate directly with a U.S.-based engineering team.
We Offer

- Hands-on ownership of production systems that support a customer-facing platform
- Meaningful influence over reliability, performance, security, and how the platform scales
- Direct collaboration with application engineers and engineering leaders in the U.S.
- A long-term opportunity to become an integral member of the engineering team
