Position Overview The Cloud Network Engineer 2 supports the operation and administration of cloud network communications systems, including the design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cloud network architectures and infrastructure. Responsibilities Supports the operation of the cloud backbone for network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for cloud network architectures. Administer, monitor, install, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of systems. Conducts testing of network design. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software, virtual appliances, interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, firewalls, switches, gateways, etc. Understands how commodity cloud servers, operating systems and networks function, perform and scale. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience. Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience. Certifications IAT-2 certification required. One or more cloud certifications required. Clearance Active Secret clearance required.
