Cloud Operations Manager

Our client is an international technology company looking for an experienced Cloud Operations Manager to join its growing team.

In this role, you will take ownership of the operation, scalability, reliability and cost-efficiency of the company’s cloud environment, while supporting customer migrations from on-premises to cloud-based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve cloud infrastructure and operations
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security and cost efficiency
• Lead cloud onboarding and migration activities
• Oversee incident management, root-cause analysis and operational improvements
• Manage cloud costs and identify optimization opportunities
• Coordinate external cloud providers and technology partners
• Work closely with engineering, product and other technical teams
• Contribute to monitoring, business continuity and disaster recovery processes

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, Infrastructure or DevOps
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS
• Experience with cloud migrations and customer-facing environments
• Good knowledge of cloud-native technologies, automation and scalability
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps and YAML
• Docker and/or Microsoft SQL Server experience is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills
• Excellent communication skills in an international environment
