Cloud Security Architect

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteer is a part-time role responsible for organizing, guiding, and supporting volunteers involved in community and energy-related initiatives. This hybrid position is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site activities and some work-from-home arrangements. Day-to-day tasks include recruiting and onboarding volunteers, scheduling and coordinating volunteer activities, and maintaining accurate records of participation and impact. The role also involves communicating with volunteers and internal teams, preparing basic reports, facilitating orientation and training sessions, and ensuring volunteers are engaged, informed, and aligned with the Authority’s objectives. The Coordinator of Volunteer will help strengthen community outreach and support public awareness programs related to energy use, safety, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate, organize, and schedule volunteer activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of community programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage volunteers, collaborate with internal teams, and interact with community stakeholders.
• Basic administrative and record-keeping skills, including maintaining volunteer databases, attendance logs, and simple activity reports.
• Demonstrated capacity for problem-solving, time management, and handling multiple tasks in a structured and reliable manner.
• Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including using digital tools for remote coordination, online meetings, and documentation.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, inclusivity, and respect for diverse backgrounds, with a genuine interest in community service and public-sector work.
• Previous experience in volunteer coordination, community outreach, or non-profit initiatives is an advantage but not strictly required.
• Relevant post-secondary education or training in social sciences, public administration, community development, or a related field is beneficial.
