Job Summary

We are looking for a Cloud/DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on AWS production experience, focused on building, securing, and automating cloud infrastructure. You will manage AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), implement secure IAM practices, optimize cloud costs, support compliance requirements, develop CI/CD pipelines, and improve cloud security, reliability, and operational efficiency. Experience with automation, observability, incident response, and integrations through APIs/webhooks is a plus.

Requirements

  • Hands-on with AWS in production, including compute (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda), networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, Transit Gateway, Private Link), and storage (S3, EBS, EFS).
  • Infrastructure-as-Code proficiency, ideally Terraform (or CloudFormation/CDK), with experience managing modules, state, and multi-account setups via AWS Organizations.
  • Solid grasp of IAM: least-privilege policy design, roles, cross-account access, and identity federation (SSO/OIDC).
  • Experience with cost management and right-sizing (Cost Explorer, budgets, tagging strategy).
  • Working knowledge of at least one compliance framework relevant to your business: SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or CIS Benchmarks.
  • Familiarity with cloud security posture management and vulnerability remediation workflows (e.g., AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector).
  • Strong scripting/programming in at least one of Python, Go, or Bash.
  • CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance (GitHub Actions - preferred, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).

Nice to Have

  • Experience wiring systems together via APIs and webhooks — e.g., connecting alerting to PagerDuty/Opsgenie, ChatOps into Slack, ticketing into Jira, and event-driven automation (EventBridge, Lambda).
  • Experience building observability across the three pillars: metrics, logs, and traces.
  • Incident response experience: on-call, runbooks, postmortems, and reducing MTTR.

Reasons to work with us

  • Be part of a highly skilled team solving genuinely hard problems
  • Competitive compensation and flexible working arrangements
  • Fully Remote position
  • Contract - Full Time
  • Open, transparent communication and a strong engineering culture
