As a Cluster Business Financial Analyst (FP&A) at Atotech brand of

MKS, you will partner closely with the Head of Finance Central and Eastern Europe and business leaders across the Cluster Central and Eastern Europe to provide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis that support strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in delivering actionable financial insights, driving business performance, enhancing reporting capabilities, and supporting continuous process improvement across the Cluster. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial information is available to support business growth and profitability.


You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Supporting annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly outlook processes across a cluster of 4-5 European countries, ensuring accurate financial planning and alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyzing financial and operational performance to provide meaningful insights and recommendations that support business and strategic decision-making.
  • Preparing management reports, variance analyses, and financial reconciliations to support the monthly closing process and leadership reporting requirements.
  • Monitoring actual results against budget and forecast, identifying key variances, explaining business drivers, and recommending corrective actions where needed.
  • Conducting profitability, cost, margin, and working capital analyses across Business Units, Product Groups, and countries to evaluate overall business performance.
  • Maintaining and enhancing financial planning models, ensuring assumptions are accurate, documented, and aligned with current business conditions.
  • Developing dashboards, executive reports, and management presentations that communicate financial performance and business trends in a clear and impactful manner.
  • Providing regular KPI reporting and performance tracking to support monthly business reviews and stakeholder discussions.
  • Delivering ad-hoc financial analyses and business cases requested by Cluster and Regional leadership teams to support informed decision-making.
  • Supporting pricing, investment, profitability, and cost optimization initiatives by delivering robust financial assessments and recommendations.
  • Partnering with Finance Business Partners and key stakeholders by delivering timely reporting, financial insights, and analytical support.
  • Collaborating with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to improve data quality, reporting consistency, and financial transparency.
  • Participating in forecasting reviews, business planning discussions, and performance review meetings to help drive accountability and business results.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing financial planning, reporting processes, and standardization across the Cluster.
  • Supporting reporting automation and data visualization initiatives through tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, or similar analytical platforms.
  • Ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy across financial systems, databases, and reporting tools through validation and reconciliation activities.
  • Preparing and maintaining reporting documentation, templates, and best practices to strengthen governance and process consistency.
  • Utilizing SAP ERP, SAP BW, HFM, Excel, and reporting tools to generate accurate financial reports and business performance analyses.
  • Making Safety your #1 priority, ensuring compliance with MKS policies, procedures, and standards while contributing to a culture of integrity and accountability.
  • Performing ad-hoc Finance and FP&A activities as required to support evolving business needs and strategic priorities.

Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, Financial Analysis, Controlling, Commercial Finance, Business Analysis, or a similar finance role.
  • Experience working within a multinational and matrix organization is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, financial planning, and performance analysis.
  • Fluency in English and Polish, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with SAP ERP and SAP BW is required; HFM would be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, SQL, or Python would be an asset.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across several countries and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management, collaboration, and continuous improvement mindset.
