Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled CMS Developer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic, custom Content Management System (CMS) applications (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, or Craft CMS). In this role, you will be responsible for creating robust CMS architectures, building custom themes and plugins, and translating mockups into fully functional, responsive, and secure web experiences. You will collaborate daily with designers, content creators, and cross-functional teams to align with brand standards and support a highly scalable, developer-focused digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • CMS Development & Architecture: Create, manage, and scale customized CMS applications. Build custom themes, modules, and plugins from scratch to extend platform functionality.
  • Site Optimization: Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility. Conduct performance tuning to keep websites fast, lightweight, and lag-free.
  • Content Management Structure: Set up Custom Post Types (CPT) and Custom Fields to create a tailored, easy-to-use editing experience for non-technical team members.
  • Security & Maintenance: Ensure site security, data protection, user authentication, and manage regular backups and software updates.
  • SEO & Integration: Implement technical SEO best practices. Integrate third-party APIs, CRM systems, and tracking tools (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and content stakeholders to meet brand guidelines and timelines.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain clean code and technical documentation for future reference and knowledge transfer.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of software development experience, with a heavy focus on CMS technologies.
  • Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+), and server-side languages (e.g., PHP, Python, or Ruby).
  • Deep hands-on experience and portfolio demonstrating work with platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, or Magento.
  • Ability to connect APIs, manage databases, and architect custom backend solutions.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote Environment, manage your time effectively, and communicate updates via project management tools.
  • Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills with a sharp eye for detail and design accuracy.
