You will collaborate closely with fellow Co-Founders and team members to drive innovation, build a strong company culture, and achieve our mission of " Helping millions of students/freshers/professionals PAN India and globally, to get them Job-Ready In-Time through our Industry Academia Community (IAC) " Idea is to not see them as our customers but our future workforce of a million+ people, that we can take into the IT industry to capture 1% of then $500 Bn industry by 2030, in turn to making us a $5 Bn company in the next 5 years. RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN INVESTMENT OFFICER Investment Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with the company's vision and long-term goals. Identify high-potential opportunities for funding and investments across various sectors Fundraising & Investor Relations: Lead fundraising efforts, including pitch development, investor meetings, and managing relationships with current and potential investors. Ensure a strong pipeline of capital to support company growth Business Development: Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions to enhance the company's value and competitive positioning. Financial Forecasting & Risk Management: Oversee financial projections, budgets, and cash flow management. Work with the team to mitigate risks and ensure the company's financial health Market & Industry Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities that align with the company's mission and growth targets. Team Building, Leadership & Mentorship: Build finance and investment teams; provide leadership and mentorship to them, ensuring strong collaboration across departments to achieve business objectives. Deal Sourcing & Execution: Source and evaluate investment opportunities, negotiate terms, and oversee due diligence and transaction processes. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with stakeholders, including investors, board members, and internal teams, to provide updates on the investment portfolio, financial status, and strategic direction.  REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience in investment management, venture capital, private equity, or related financial sectors, preferably within early-stage startups Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and fundraising processes Demonstrated ability to secure and manage investments, with a successful track record of raising capital Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Experience in managing investor relations and working with diverse stakeholders. Deep knowledge of the market trends, financial instruments, and industry-specific investment strategies. Strategic mindset with a passion for entrepreneurship and high-growth ventures. Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Prior startup experience is a plus, but not required. COMPENSATION: Remuneration would be in terms of equity stake initially, based on skills, experience and qualifications. Salary after fund raise of INR 40 Crs. (~$5 Mn) would be no bar for a top performer.
