We’re hiring: Co-Managing Director

BazookaGoal is looking for an experienced Co-Managing Director to help lead our next stage of growth.

We’re a high-end football brand supplying premium equipment to retailers, schools, grassroots clubs, and professional clubs and academies around the world. Our foldable goals are designed to make training more accessible, enjoyable, and effective for players of all ages and abilities.

We work with organizations including Concacaf, Real Madrid Clinics, and Bayern FA, alongside clubs and football organizations worldwide. Our UK-headquartered business supports international customers through dedicated distribution operations handling tens of thousands of orders each year.

The role

Working closely with the other Managing Director, you’ll share responsibility for the company’s strategy, performance, and day-to-day leadership. You’ll guide teams across sales, marketing, finance, logistics, and customer service, while helping BazookaGoal grow internationally and strengthen its position in the football market.

This is a hands-on executive role for someone who can connect commercial ambition with disciplined financial and operational management.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic priorities and turn growth plans into clear, measurable actions.
• Lead and support cross-functional teams, setting goals and following up on performance.
• Take a strong lead on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Monitor cash flow, profitability, margins, working capital, and financial performance across the business.
• Strengthen financial reporting, controls, and management information to support timely decisions.
• Assess commercial opportunities, investment decisions, and growth initiatives using robust financial analysis.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and improve processes across sales, marketing, logistics, and customer service.
• Develop key accounts and partnerships with distributors, retailers, clubs, and football organizations.
• Work with the product team to bring new products and development initiatives to market.
• Help build an inclusive, accountable, and high-performance culture.
  

What we’re looking for

• Senior leadership experience, ideally in a Managing Director, General Manager, Finance Director, CFO, or comparable role.
• Strong financial experience, with a track record in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, financial reporting, and profitability analysis.
• Confidence using financial data to guide commercial decisions, manage risk, and support sustainable growth.
• Experience leading teams across several functions and working effectively with shared executive responsibility.
• A record of delivering business growth, market expansion, or international operations.
• Commercial experience in sales, partnerships, key-account management, or a related area.
• Strong operational judgement, organizational skills, and a practical approach to improving processes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in football, sport, consumer goods, or an international business is an advantage.
• A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a postgraduate qualification is welcome.
• The ability to work in a hybrid role based in Athens, with flexibility for travel and industry events.
