Position Overview:


Position Dates: January 11, 2027 – June 30, 2027


Insulet’s Global Sustainability team is seeking a motivated student to join us as a co-op for January-June 2027. The role will support our Global Sustainability and Social Impact teams with communications across internal and external channels, with a focus on helping translate complex sustainability information into clear, engaging content for a range of audiences. The position offers opportunities to own communications deliverables and gain hands-on experience in corporate sustainability, ESG reporting and disclosure, and cross-functional communications within the medical device industry. This position reports to the Director, Global Sustainability and will work closely with the Sustainability team as well as Corporate Communications, Marketing, Investor Relations, and other cross-functional partners.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Co-op responsibilities may include:


  • Draft and coordinate content supporting sustainability and social impact communications across corporate sustainability and investor webpages, press releases, LinkedIn, internal news articles, Viva Engage, intranet banners, and presentation materials.
  • Develop supporting communications materials such as executive briefs, stakeholder emails, FAQs, talking points, report highlights, and manufacturing tour scripts, ensuring alignment with approved sustainability/social impact messaging and brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Communications, Marketing, Investor Relations, web teams, and other internal partners to gather inputs, route content for review and approval, and track deliverables, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Maintain communications plans and content calendars; organize source materials, documents, presentations, and creative assets; and provide meeting and project coordination support for sustainability communications initiatives.
  • Research sustainability and social impact topics and help translate technical or complex information into clear, accurate, and engaging content for internal and external audiences.
  • Perform other sustainability communications-related duties as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate student pursuing a BA/BS in Sustainability, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred Skills and Competencies:
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills; familiarity with AP style is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, including a desire to learn from colleagues across departments and cultures in a hybrid work environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and digital communications tools; familiarity with SharePoint or digital asset management platforms is a plus.
  • Proactive, dependable, and professional, with an interest in sustainability, social impact, and/or medical device communications.

Additional Information:

Compensation & Benefits:

For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $25.00 - $34.00

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
