ROLE: Co-pack Manager

REPORTS TO: VP of Supply chain and Strategic Sourcing

LOCATION: BC / ON

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Co-Pack Manager to join our Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for developing and managing co-pack and contract manufacturing partners, ensuring production is executed on time, within quality standards, and aligned with customer and business requirements.

The Co-Pack Manager will play a critical role in actively securing new business and expanding our customer base to fill open capacity and improve asset utilization , ensuring seamless execution across external manufacturing and packaging partners, balancing service, quality, cost, and supply continuity to support the company's strategic objectives.

Knowledge & skills

• Strong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing operations.

• Supplier relationship management and problem-solving skills.

• Financial acumen and cost management capabilities.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle NetSuite, D365, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.

• APICS/CPIM, CSCP, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma certifications are considered an asset.

• 3-5+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, procurement, or contract manufacturing management.

• Experience managing co-packers, contract manufacturers, or third-party suppliers.

• Food, beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), Dairy industry, or consumer products industry experience preferred.

• Experience leading cross-functional projects and supplier negotiations.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in food manufacturing /Dairy sector

• Business development – securing additional Copack volume

• Managing new product launches with Copackers

• Managing Contracts with copackers

• On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance

• Co-pack service level attainment

• Capacity utilization and production adherence

OTHER …

• You will be required to travel across Canada

  • 10-25% (as required for supplier /plant visits)
