Who are we looking for?

Choice Hotels, one of the world's largest lodging franchisors, is seeking a Co-Pilot Engineer 2 to join our AI Operations organization. This role is designed for an emerging AI-savvy professional who is eager to support teams in adopting and using AI capabilities within the enterprise.

The Co-Pilot Engineer 2 supports the bridge between AI technology and day-to-day business work. Working under general supervision, this role assists with enablement, adoption, and education efforts, contributing to projects that help the immediate AI Operations team ensure that AI tools, agents, and automations are understood and begin delivering value.

This role is ideal for someone who is building their foundational knowledge of AI concepts and tools, communicates clearly with peers, and is enthusiastic about helping others work more effectively alongside AI. #MakeItYourChoice.

Your Responsibilities

AI Enablement & Education Support
Assist in delivering training sessions, demos, and workshops that help team members and immediate stakeholders use AI tools. Support the translation of AI concepts for audiences with varying levels of familiarity, working from established training frameworks and materials developed by senior team members.

Adoption & Implementation Assistance
Support the rollout of AI agents and workflows under the direction of senior Co-Pilot Engineers. Assist with user onboarding activities and help troubleshoot basic usability issues, following established guidelines and escalating more complex issues as appropriate.

Opportunity Documentation
Help document AI use cases identified by senior team members and business partners. Assist in gathering and organizing information about workflows and team challenges to support opportunity qualification efforts led by others on the team.

Measurement & Reporting Support
Support tracking of AI adoption metrics by collecting data and compiling information for team dashboards and reports. Assist in gathering user feedback and summarizing findings for review by senior staff.

Standards & Playbook Contribution
Contribute to the maintenance of enablement materials, documentation, and playbooks under the guidance of senior team members. Help ensure materials are up to date and accurately reflect current tools and processes.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, communications, education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Some exposure to AI tools and concepts in an academic or professional setting.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain basic concepts to peers.
  • Ability to support training activities and assist in enabling others.
  • Comfort collaborating with peers across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Basic experience with data collection, reporting, and documentation.
  • Organized, curious, and enthusiastic about growing AI knowledge and skills.

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager, AI Operations. This role is part of the AI Operations organization, working closely with fellow Co-Pilot Engineers and the broader AI Operations team on day-to-day enablement and adoption tasks. The Co-Pilot Engineer 2 primarily supports the work of the immediate team, contributing to shared projects and building the foundational skills needed to grow in the AI enablement space. While AI Ops engineers focus on building and operating AI-enabled systems, the Co-Pilot Engineer 2 focuses on supporting people, adoption efforts, and team-level outcomes, and ensures that AI tools and automations gain traction and begin delivering value within the organization.
