Role Description The Collaborator 35-45 is a flexibily required visual artist, team member who supports the planning, coordination, and execution of community-focused design initiatives. This hybrid role is based in karachi South. Should be fluent in urdu, English.

Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in design workshops, gathering input from community members and partners, documenting ideas and outcomes, and assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, and visual materials.

The Collaborator helps organize meetings and events, maintains clear communication among project stakeholders, and contributes to the development of climate-sensitive and socially inclusive neighborhood concepts. The role involves working closely with designers, planners, and community representatives to ensure projects reflect local needs and promote health, safety, and opportunity.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, community members, and external partners.
• Strong communication skills, including clear written documentation and confident participation in group discussions and presentations.
• Interest in urban design, community development, sustainability, public health, or related fields.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, coordinate meetings, and track project progress with attention to detail.
• Comfort with a hybrid work model, including on-site work in karachi and remote collaboration using digital tools.
• Prior experience in community engagement, social impact projects, or design-related initiatives is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (e.g., urban studies, architecture, social sciences, environmental studies) preferred.
