Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a French Teacher. The French Teacher will plan and deliver engaging virtual French lessons to learners of varying ages and proficiency levels, using appropriate instructional methods and digital tools. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, conducting live online classes, assigning and reviewing practice work, and providing individualized feedback. The French Teacher is expected to contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports confidence and effective communication in French.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in French Teaching and Tutoring, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
• Experience in Teaching and Education, including lesson planning, classroom management in virtual settings, and learner assessment.
• Background in Teacher Training or mentoring other instructors, with an interest in sharing best practices and continuous improvement.
• Advanced proficiency in French (near-native or native level) and solid command of English for clear communication with learners and colleagues.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms, digital learning tools, and remote collaboration software.
• Relevant degree or certification in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to create inclusive, respectful learning spaces and work effectively with diverse learners.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability in a remote work setting, and commitment to learner success and professional ethics.
