Collections and Recoveries Advisor | Wellingborough (Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite)
Collections is about more than recovering money. Done well, it’s about understanding people and finding the right way forward.
That’s the approach we take at Arkle Finance. We believe in finance that puts people first, and we trust our people to make good decisions for our customers and our business.
Join us and you’ll become part of a growing asset finance business where your experience will be valued. You’ll own your cases, have the freedom to use your judgement and be encouraged to share ideas as we invest in our systems, develop our teams and continue to grow.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll manage your own portfolio of customers who have fallen behind or are at risk of doing so, taking the time to understand each situation and find the right way forward. Day to day, you’ll:
- Manage your own portfolio of arrears cases through to resolution
- Understand customers’ circumstances and agree fair, practical repayment solutions
- Support customers experiencing vulnerability and ensure they’re treated fairly
- Keep cases moving through clear communication, accurate records and effective follow-up
What you’ll bring
Previous collections or recoveries experience in asset finance, instalment credit or motor finance is essential. You’ll be confident managing your own arrears portfolio, assessing affordability, negotiating repayment arrangements and supporting vulnerable customers within a regulated lending environment.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience of hire purchase or finance lease agreements
- Later-stage arrears or recoveries experience
- DIPAF or MICM qualification
Our commitment to inclusion

If you have a disability and meet the minimum criteria for the role, you’ll be guaranteed an interview. If you need any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know we are here to support you.
