Collections Specialist

At OakRidge, with headquarters in Ohrid, North-Macedonia, we believe in professional service, human-centered communication, and results-driven solutions. Through our international expertise, we support companies across Europe with credit management, accounts receivable management, and collection services. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Collection Specialist who wants to contribute to our further expansion.

No two cases are the same — and that is exactly what motivates you. As a Collection Specialist, you will manage a variety of commercial collection files and work daily on finding efficient and professional solutions for outstanding payments.

You can easily adapt to different situations: one moment you negotiate a payment arrangement with a debtor, the next you advise a client on the best strategy for handling a case. You communicate in a professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented manner.

· Maintaining telephone and written communication with debtors and clients

· Managing and following up on outstanding collection files

· Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements

· Administratively processing files, payments, and correspondence

· Advising clients on the most effective approach for their cases

· Drafting formal correspondence and legal-related documentation

· Collaborating with external partners such as lawyers and bailiffs

· Contributing ideas to improve processes and service quality

We are looking for a strong communicator who enjoys working in a solution-oriented environment.

· At least a secondary education diploma or equivalent experience

· Experience in collections, customer service, accounts receivable, or credit management is considered an advantage

· Strong communication skills in English and Dutch or French; additional languages are a plus

· Good administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail

· A professional and stress-resistant attitude

· Empathy combined with a results-oriented mindset

· A proactive attitude and strong sense of responsibility

· Additional languages such as German, or Italian are considered a strong asset

· Fully remote position – 100% working from home

· Full-time position (40h week), no weekends or late evenings
