Summary/Objective
With strong customer service and communications skills, this employee will effectively pre-collect for diagnostic procedures and self-pay patients. The employee will verify out-of-pocket expenses and contact the patient to obtain payment prior to service date.
Essential Functions

- Verify insurance eligibility and out-of-pocket expenses
- Process patient payments
- Post patient payments in appropriate EMR
- Report monthly volumes of collected payments
- Assist in process improvement with RCM team to streamline all collections-based processes
- Perform special assignments or other duties as assigned

- Demonstrates proficient computer skills including accurate data entry into Microsoft Excel, as well as documentation and communication through Microsoft Outlook.

Work Environment
This position is fully remote, but you must reside in one of the following states: Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Texas, Tennessee, West Virginia, Indiana, Georgia, Florida, Ohio.
Physical Demands
The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
